Quorum Architects announces the addition of Amanda Robinson, NCIDQ, IIDA as Interior Design Project Manager. With her experience in healthcare design and specialization in women’s health clinics and Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) projects, Amanda’s rich background aligns perfectly with Quorum’s commitment to the future of healthcare environments.
PACE centers play a vital role in providing adult daycare and much-needed respite for families and caregivers. Amanda has been instrumental in developing design standards for these facilities as well as women’s (age 65+) health clinics, and other medical healthcare systems. Amanda’s portfolio encompasses a wide range of healthcare projects including prototype national rollouts, micro hospitals, freestanding emergency departments, primary and urgent care clinics, pediatric clinics, surgical suites, behavioral health units, and tenant finish outs.
“I’m thrilled to join a team that recognizes the growing need for safe, comforting, and functional healthcare environments as the world's population ages. Quorum is dedicated to creating design solutions that alleviate the burdens of patients and healthcare staff,” says Amanda.
Amanda’s dedication has earned her an invitation to speak at the Environment Design Research Association (EDRA) Conference, where she served as a guest panelist. She has also been recognized by the Healthcare Advisory Council as a “Select Healthcare Designer” for her positive impact on healthcare outcomes. Highlighting her commitment to promoting gender equality in the industry, Amanda is a founding member of Women in Interior Design for Gender Equality.
Quorum Partner and Director of Interior Design, Karin Taylor adds, “With Amanda’s experience and knowledge, we’re opening up new possibilities for advancing Quorum’s healthcare clients’ goals and ensuring their spaces are designed to meet the unique needs of their staff and patients.”
