In an effort to draw large events to the Division 2 University, Pittsburg State needed a new Division 1 athletic/events center on their campus. Quorum, in conjunction with Nationwide Construction, fulfilled that need with the 154,000 square foot Robert W. Plaster Center. Serving their football, track & field, baseball, volleyball, weight training and nutrition programs, the Center also contains athletic offices, meeting rooms, locker rooms and an 11,000 square foot, state-of-the-art strength and conditional facility. With seating for up to 1500, the Gorillas new home has become the center of activity for students and attracts large events to the campus that were not previously possible.
