Quorum was asked to design the 60,000 square foot assisted living and memory care residence for Pinnacle Senior Living of Lufkin. The design goal was to provide a high-quality home environment with many outstanding features within an affordable senior living community. Licensed as Type “B” assisted living by the state of Texas, Pinnacle will provide basic health services as well as specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s and other memory issues. Pinnacle’s 80-bed facility will provide multiple living choices with one- and two-bedroom as well as studio units.

Quorum’s design includes a mix of natural textures and materials, creating a welcoming environment that incorporates activity rooms, a beauty shop and comprehensive dining options with a full commercial kitchen serving three nutritional meals a day. Outdoor amenities on the heavily wooded site include walking trails, gardens and a small private pond for residents to enjoy.
