This new 16,800 square foot service center for the City almost doubled the size and storage capacity of their previous cramped facility, allowing the staff to more quickly and efficiently maintain and repair City vehicles and equipment. The new building includes offices, meeting rooms, a break room and eight fleet maintenance bays.

Due to a multi-million-dollar reduction in the budget for the project, Quorum suggested changes that brought the project within the City’s new budget. The design team incorporated sustainable features into the building design that have a return-on-investment without significant impact on the budget. Those incorporated design features will result in energy cost savings, reduced water consumption and improved air quality that make this larger facility more economical to operate than the previous, smaller one.
