Increasing capacity while creating a healthier environment for the animals, staff & visitors was the City’s main goal for this new facility. The new City of Pearland Shari D. Coleman Animal Shelter & Adoption Center is a state-of-the-art 17,200 square foot facility with the capacity to house more than 200 animals.

Exterior graphics help identify the building as a destination place and signify that visitors are welcome. Interior graphics assist with wayfinding while adding color and whimsy. Guests are encouraged to interact with adoptable cats and dogs in meet-n-greet rooms and spacious, shaded play yards, proven to increase the success of adoptions.
