Tri-City Animal Shelter & Adoption Center
Cedar Hill, TX
Quorum was hired by the close-knit communities of Cedar Hill, Duncanville and DeSoto to design their shared animal shelter. The design included a whimsical entry reminiscent of a dog house that has become an identifiable landmark for the residents.
The facility includes 31 kennels and 24 small dog/puppy cages with a separate public viewing corridor. The get-to-know courtyard has outdoor dog runs and includes easy to maintain “field-turf” grass. There are 21 stray/impound kennels and six (6) quarantine kennels. For our feline friends, Tri-City incorporates cat isolation and cat intake/quarantine, cat play and get-to-know room located off the lobby. Their large cat display houses 30 built-in stainless steel cages with glass fronts which look onto the lobby/entry which allows patrons walking in a wonderful view of the cats.
More recently Tri-City returned to Quorum for the addition of a conditioned sallyport, a covered outdoor run with 5 kennels and a covered break room patio.

"We constantly get compliments on our facility. Quorum gave us an eye catching design, a facility that is easy to function within, easy on upkeep, and they give us all the support we need to keep it running at a premier level. Not to mention the huge increase in placements that have continued to grow as our reputation has enriched. We are very grateful (for) this lifesaving gift.”
